Our Story
Where Care Meets Intention
At Taho Health, people come in with pain, restriction, or a sense that something isn’t working the way it should. We start by understanding the full picture—how you move, what your life demands, and what you want your body to be capable of long-term.
From there, we identify what’s driving symptoms and movement limitations, then apply the Taho System: coordinated assessment, private hands-on care, movement-based rehabilitation, and recovery support—progressed as you improve.
Just as important, you leave with clarity. You understand what’s happening and why it matters, so care isn’t passive—it’s something you actively own. This teamwork empowers you to maintain your progress and live with vitality for years to come.
Why We Built Taho Health
Taho Health was built to close a common gap: care can feel fragmented or rushed, without clear answers or a connected plan.
At Taho Health, doctors take the time to listen and identify what’s driving the issue. Care is precise and personal—built around your body, your goals, and what your movement requires. Hands-on treatment and movement training happen under one roof, so your plan is meaningful and easier to maintain over time.

Hoan D. Nguyen, D.C., C.C.S.P.
A lifelong athlete with an early passion for the outdoors, Dr. Nguyen grew up active, curious, and deeply connected to how the body moves. Years of competitive tennis shaped his understanding of human function and the resilience required to keep a body performing at its best. While studying Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley, he further immersed himself in the world of human performance through a hands-on internship with the Cal Sports Medicine team. There, he witnessed the precision, impact, and sophistication of chiropractic care—an experience that set the trajectory for his career. These formative chapters continue to define his refined, performance-minded, movement-centered approach to member care today.
Dr. Nguyen continued his education at the Southern California University of Health Sciences, where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and graduated Cum Laude. Now a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician with more than 21 years in sports medicine and 15 years in practice, he blends advanced manual therapy, precise joint work, and tailored movement rehabilitation to restore function, enhance performance, and elevate long-term vitality. His mission is simple: to help every member not just live longer, but live with strength, confidence, and the full ability to enjoy the life they love.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Nguyen is a devoted girl dad to three daughters. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, and cheering on the Lakers. His calm presence, genuine care, and member-first approach make him a trusted partner in each member’s long-term vitality.

Anish Chandra, D.C., C.C.S.P., Q.M.E
Dr. Anish Chandra is a board-certified Chiropractor with over 17 years of clinical experience in providing patient-centered, evidence-informed care. Born in Lautoka, Fiji Islands, Dr. Chandra moved to the United States at age 11 and has since made Southern California his home.
He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and later received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.
Dr. Chandra’s passion for chiropractic care was sparked by his own exploration of healthcare options, ultimately leading him to a profession where he could combine science, movement, and healing. Committed to continuous learning, he has pursued additional certifications, including the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.) credential, to offer tailored, results-driven care for a wide variety of conditions.
Since beginning his practice in August 2008, Dr. Chandra has served diverse communities across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Oxnard, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Huntington Beach, Orange, and Corona. His holistic and integrative approach emphasizes long-term wellness, focusing on pain relief, improved function, and sustainable movement.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chandra enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially his son Aiden. He is also an avid music lover who enjoys watching movies, reading, and playing the drums and guitar.
